THE CONSTRUCTION SITE

A construction foreman studies their clipboard while chatting with a couple of contractors. The foreman gives a few directions as they scatter, then looks up... and pauses.

Something has caught their attention.

The slow zoom begins.

We cut to one of the contractors chaining up a yellow crane hook. A familiar shape. A familiar colour.

Back to our foreman. A low grumble. They look uneasy, like they just remembered they left the stove on at home.

“COMING UP!”

A distant contractor calls across the site as another shoulders a bundle of coiled yellow corrugated conduit toward the second floor. We continue to zoom as they track across frame.

Back to our foreman. They blink, trying to pull themselves together.

*BUUURRRR!*

The familiar rumble of heavy machinery.

The foreman closes their eyes, then slowly turns, knowing exactly what they’re about to witness.

We cut to the excavator as its yellow arm begins lifting its payload.

Back to the foreman. A thousand-yard stare.

Back to the lift. The bucket arm bends into a perfect yellow noodle shape when CUT — a match cut to the perfect noodle.
