Photo boards
HI FRIENDS

Here are some initial photoboards to reference framing and my approach to coverage of our different scripts.

Important here to use some imagination, as there is no art and minimal propping in the frames. What I hope this provides is an idea of scale of the product, propping, and talent within the scripts.

We did take some video boards on the day to show you the match cut, but I would say most are self explanitory from the photoboards.

In terms of camera movement, we are split between sticks, slider, dolly, and handheld.

We can talk about all this tomorrow once you land in beautiful Vancouver!

BIKE 15

We talked about having some “moments” at the beginning of the bar, but knowing that we are really limited with time for 15 seconds with a pack shot end card, something I might suggest which I think could be very tasteful—

That would be playing the beginning of the 15 as a clean oner...

A nice and clean shot of all our wonderful art direction, extras, and our hero having a great night out with friends.

dollying in from our wide all the way into our can on the bar— holding static for a second before the match cut

Straight to the water bottle lifting out of frame— then dollying back into our biking wide with our hero riding away.

BACKYARD PARTY FRAMING
PICNIC FRAMING

PICNIC 6

This one is pretty self explanitory but these photoboards should be signed off on when it comes to the framing!

This one is pretty maliable, very easy to go closer— but if you’re anticipating it being wider or angled lower than this, let me know so I can alert our art team to bring in more for the backyard party.

JOG 6

Also fairly self explanitory— but important to note that our match cut here is on a hand, rather than the product.

It should make sense when looking at the gifs, but I want to make sure we are cool with the way everything is framed up.

We also have a couple different options for backdrops in our neighbourhood area— I leaned into one I liked best and sold the vibe, but it’s easy to switch.
THIS IS TOO SLOW BUT YOU GET THE IDEA!

BIKE 6

This one is pretty self explanitory here.

The main differences are that we are using an alt opening shot with the 3 cans and we will tighten up timing on our bike shot. We will have him lift the water bottle out of the frame while he’s already riding to get to our wide framing quicker!

PACK SHOT

Packshots here— just gauging on framing.

Important to note= These are the two shots where we are subbing bottles in as B options! We also have different surfaces available through the art department!
WAHOO!

Excited to get together soon and chat these through tomorrow!

Gonna be a great shoot,
