Scouting
I am super happy that this one is going to wind up close to home for me. Once the job awards, I would love nothing more than to get down to Spokane ASAP and do some scouting to see what we are working with. We can be in constant comms about what I see when I get down there!

Casting
Katrin at VAKA Street Casting is someone who I frequently collaborate with. She just assisted on the street casting for multiple A24 projects up here, and doesn’t do many commercials unless I am doing it. I would love to bring her onto this project and have her immediately start fielding options so we can have the most time possible to find amazing Foresters who fit the bill for the story we are telling.

Days + Talent
I think achieving 6 featured talent on our schedule is totally doable on a one-day shoot, given the inclusion of a prep day and starting the prep process as soon as possible. Once this awards, I am on this full time, ready to problem solve and get the ball rolling — I just want it on the record that I am ready and excited to help make this something really special. Put me to work!

The Cut Downs
I would reiterate that I feel our casting choices will guide what we want our “wish list” of interview answers to be! I am looking forward to working with you on this to make sure we get what we need on the day. What might be even better is to use our prep day or a fitting day to work with the Foresters on the audio recordings — that way we only have to focus on the visuals when it comes to the main shoot day.
